With version 0.97 I’ve added a cool new feature. Clicking the button marked “Analyze Feedback” on the RubricView page will create a chart showing how often you’ve assigned each performance level for each criteria. If you have a performance criteria labeled “Introduction,” for example, where students could earn 3, 2, or 1 points, the “Analyze Feedback” feature will tell you how many students were awarded 3 pts, how many got 2 pts, and how many got 1 pt.
It’ll be a great way for you to see how you are doing, and get a sense of how the overall class is doing. I find, for example, almost all students get full credit for some of my criteria on a particular assignment. This means other categories are determining the overall spread of student grades. I also find I’m sometimes surprised at how many students received low scores for other categories, telling me I need to spend more time helping students learn what they need to do well on these categories.
